I joined the ATCC 3 years ago. As client coordinator, I work with new and existing clients to help make the process of scheduling, dealing with insurance and payment easier. My family and I have lived in the NC high country for the past 20 years. We enjoy hiking the local trails with our golden retriever, Primrose. Originally from Wilmington, NC, the summer season is my favorite time of year here. Upon graduation from the University North Carolina at Wilmington, I knew I wanted to work as a support person in healthcare services. Over the past 25 years, I have worked in both hospital and private practice settings. Utilizing my Psychology degree, I also worked as a research assistant at the McLeod Addictive Disease Center for over a decade. Before joining Authentic Transitions Counseling and Coaching, I served as the Community Connections Coordinator at the First Presbyterian Church of Boone, NC. Serving as the liaison between the church and the local community, I helped to coordinate relief efforts for those in need throughout the community. While my current role is often behind the scenes, I have always taken great pride in the importance of helping clients feel valued and cared for. I look forward to helping you get connected with one of our providers so you may continue your wellness journey.
