With a strong foundation in child welfare and a deep passion for supporting children and families, I have spent the past several years working directly with individuals navigating some of life’s most challenging circumstances. My experience in the child welfare system gave me a firsthand understanding of how trauma, systemic barriers, and family dynamics impact emotional well-being across generations. These experiences sparked a growing desire to support healing at the relational level, leading me to pursue a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Today, I bring a trauma-informed, compassionate, and systems-based lens to my therapeutic work-focused on helping individuals, couples, and families build healthier, more connected lives.
As a therapist, I take a collaborative and integrative approach, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and EMDR to help individuals and couples move toward healing and connection. Through Narrative Therapy, I support clients in exploring the stories they tell about themselves, helping them to re-author these narratives in ways that reflect their values, resilience, and hopes. For couples, I utilize Gottman Method techniques to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and foster emotional intimacy using evidence-based interventions grounded in decades of research. When working with trauma, I incorporate EMDR to help clients process and release distressing memories that may be stored in the body and mind, enabling a path toward relief and renewed sense of self. Together, we create a safe, nonjudgmental space where meaningful change can unfold.
As your therapist, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported-without judgment. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, healing from past trauma, or working to build healthier relationships, I’ll walk alongside you with compassion, honesty, and care. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that no longer serve you and move toward the clarity, strength, and peace you deserve. This is your space to grow, and I’m here to help you do it at your pace, in your way.
